Swami Rama Dhyana Gurukulam

In the Tradition of Yoga & Meditation of the Himalayan Masters

Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama Ashram

Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama ‘Village of Spiritual Seekers’ is a spiritual retreat centre founded by H. H. Swami Veda Bharati in 2002 and situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, in the holy city of Rishikesh (INDIA). It is at a comfortable walking distance (300 m.) to the sacred river Ganges and nearby the famous Virabhadra Temple. The scenic Shivalik Hills surround the area.

The campus was designed in accordance with the ancient Vastu principles. The architecture and beautiful gardens calm and inspire the mind. This setting makes it an ideal place to study, practice and experience the system of the Tradition of Yoga & Meditation of the Himalayan Masters, which leads directly to the body-mind transformation required to experience just the Peace, Freedom, Happiness, Consciousness and Eternity of your inner true Self or Samadhi.

Swami Rama Dhayana Gurukulam is the deepest Educational Programme of SRSG. However the Ashram also holds the Meditation Research Institute Lab and is the Headquarters of Association of Himalayan Yoga Meditation Societies International (AHYMSIN), which purpose is to make available the knowledge of Yoga Meditation within the Tradition of the Himalayan Masters, as interpreted by Swami Rama of the Himalayas.

The rooms of the Gurukulam are simple but comfortable and may be shared by two students.

You can see the ashram in Google Maps here.
